Notes
It is almost certain that the two children were fraternal twins. Neither of them were enumerated in the 1860 census, and both were the same age on the 1870 and 1880 censuses (9 and 19, respectively). Thus, Dicy's birthdate from the 1900 census (Feb 1860) has to be incorrect or else she would have been alive and counted in 1860.
