Notes

There is some confusion over the birth dates of the 9th child (Mary) and the 10th child (Robert). In the 1900, 1910, and 1920 US Federal Censuses, Mary is consistently enumerated as being older than Robert. In fact, in 1900, Mary's birth month and year is given to be March 1891, while for Robert it is Dec 1894. In contrast, Find A Grave gives the "Actual Birth Date" as 29 Mar 1894 for Mary and 10 Dec 1892 for Robert, and Robert's WWI draft card list his birth date as 31 Dec 1893.
