Notes

There is a purported child of Samuel and Keziah: namely, Sarah Ann Norman (find her memorial on Find A Grave). Her marker states she was born on 17 Feb 1819. If that date is correct, she would have been enumerated in her father's household in 1820 as "female, age 0-9"; however, there are no female children recorded in this household in 1820. Likewise, in the 1830 census, we should find a female age 10-14 in Samuel's household, but we find no such individual enumerated. Thus, we conclude that the aforementioned Sarah is not a child of Samuel and Keziah Norman.
